Hello,
Not sure if you already figured it out. But if not, try this:

1. Power up the printer

2. Once you see the home screen, press left bottom key (---) 4 times

3. You will see an Enable/Disable menu

4. Enable the Wireless radio

This setting could be disabled during setting up the unit with IT managed workflow.

Let me know how it goes.

Hello Ashu,

Can you confirm exactly what you mean by:

"This setting could be disabled during setting up the unit with IT managed workflow. "

When you say the above are you talking about the disabled Wi-Fi or disabling access to the control panel?  Th ereason I ask is that I can't see a way to disable this and prevent the user from accessing the setup menu by pressing - button 4 times.

Thanks,

Brian

Hi Brian,

What i meant was that during the product setup(first time setup), there is an option. Self Managed or IT Managed.

If the user selects IT Managed option, they will be shown settings to disable Wifi, disable memory port etc.

So my comment was about disabling wifi.

To answer your other query, there is no way to disable user accessing setup menu by pressing - button.

Hope you were able to recover your unit and get it to work. If not, I will recommend to call HP support for further troubleshooting.

Thanks for reaching out,

Ashu
