whenever i open my hp audio control app , it just opens and crashes (crashes without any error messages)

can anybody please help me with this ?

go to the device manager, then click on Sound, video and game controllers, uninstall the Realtek driver, it will ask if you want to remove the software, check the box, accept and then restart the device, then install the next sound driver.

HP Audio Control is part of the Realtek audio driver, there are relatively new drivers on the HP driver page. But you can also let the HP Image Assistant (HPIA) take action.

Hi @Utthan_Bhat 

 

Go to windows settings, then applications, and there select HP Audio Control and select repair.

 

If it does not work, uninstall HP Audio and reinstall using the Audio drivers from the model support page.
