HP Spectre x360 13.5 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-ef0000 (3Y838AV)

When actively using the scroll keys "up" and "down" on the laptop keyboard, an unexpected shutdown of the entire keyboard occurs. Text input also does not work. The keyboard is error-free in the Device Manager. Only restarting the computer helps. The keyboard drivers were deleted and installed again, with no result. The laptop was disassembled, the keyboard connector was disconnected and connected again. Nothing helps, the keyboard turns off periodically, after an indefinite time.

Have you run the HP PC Hardware Diagnostics utility to test the keyboard?

I suggest using a crashdump analyzer to find out what caused the crash.

Use the free Home version
