Please l am having a problem with my Laptop. I tried to update it for Windows 11 and activate the security boot, but its showing:
Boot Device Not Found
please install an operating system on your hard disk.

As i press F2 it shows new sceen that is hp pc hardware diagnostics UEF I...as in option i slect memory test ..it started checking...it takes time..it shows result check PASSED back to main menu...as same i have made drive check also..it also shows same result PASSED.........but nothing is
happening..my leptop is not working...it is showing same screen for restart the window and hard disk errors

The only suggestion I can offer would be to go back and disable secure boot.
You probably had Windows installed in legacy mode, which creates a MBR partition table.
When you enable Secure Boot, the PC is looking to boot from a drive with a GPT partition table, so you get a Boot Device Not Found error.
If disabling secure boot doesn't get the notebook to boot up, then the switch probably damaged the boot files and the easiest thing to do would be to reinstall Windows 10.
If you want to enable secure boot, you have to boot the Windows 10 installation flash drive from the EFI USB flash drive, not the legacy one.

You're very welcome.
You can enable secure boot if you convert the MBR partition to GPT.
I would back up my files first before trying this.
