Your notebook only has one memory slot and the maximum memory the slot can support according to the service manual is 1 x 8 GB, so you are already at the max.

If you want more speed out of your notebook, replace the slow-poke 5,400 RPM mechanical hard drive with a much faster performing 2.5" SATA solid state drive (SSD).
If you don't need 2 TB of storage space, you can install a smaller capacity SSD.
