Hi.
I recently re-installed Windows 10 due to a black screen issue. Now when I connect my HP EliteBook 840 G4 to a TV screen using a VGA cable then a second is shown on my PC as a "Non Generic-PNP Monitor" but my display can not transfer to the second screen. My laptop successfully connected and shared the display with tv before I re-installed it. My graphic card is an Intel hd 620 and I installed the latest display driver from his official site. My laptop is fully updated along with the display driver. So where is the problem? I tried almost everything but I failed to share the display via the cable please help me.

I have 2 VGA cables 2919 vw-1 HQ and High speed one is TECHNXT and the second one is made in China.
VGA Cable TECHNXT
My tv is a Samsung 4k and I am not sure about its model. My laptop is an HP Elite-book 840 G4 (displays: Intel 620 HD). My laptop can successfully share the display (screen) with my TV before Windows re-installation.

Both your TV and HP 840 should have HDMI port (using digital signal) why you don't use those ports ? You have to tell VGA (????) port on your TV to accept video signal from a computer, please read its manual.

Well, very interesting. Anyway it has DP port with sound on the right as shown
All you need is a DP (digital) to HDMI (digital) cable or
VGA (analog) to HDMI (digital) you need a proper converter.

First of all, Thank you so much for my assistance, and second, can you please let me know what the actual problem means a driver's issue, a VGA port issue, or a graphic card issue? It is possible that the DP port also can't share the display if any software or diver issue.?

As mentioned above VGA uses analog signals and HDMI use digital signals, you need a converter.
