HP ProBook 440 14 inch G9 Notebook PC (678R1AV)
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

I'm trying to connect a monitor from the displayPort of my Probook to a 34 inches LG Monitor, it works perfectly if I connect directly to the HDMI port, but if I try to connect with an adapter from DisplayPort to HDMI, then the resolution is not working correctly, the image is smaller and the screen looks blurried.

I've tried update OS, update all the drivers, change the HDMI cable, change the DisplayPort adapter and nothing works, do you have any idea of how can I fix this?

Are you sure your machine has a Display Port ? Its specs shows it has

  • 3 SuperSpeed USB Type-A 5Gbps signaling rate (1 charging, 1 power);
  • 1 SuperSpeed USB Type-C® 10Gbps signaling rate (USB Power Delivery, DisplayPort™ 2.1);
  • 1 headphone/microphone combo;
  • 1 AC power;
  • 1 RJ-45;
  • 1 HDMI 2.1b
Regards.
