I can't say that I have ever heard of a hotface card.
That really sounds like a made up word to me, since even Google has never heard of it.

Bought HP Stream 14'' Lightweight Laptop. It has minimal storage on C drive. It came with a hotface -H3A-128G to be used for storage. There is no information on how to use it. I tried to plug in but the laptop doesn't recognize it. How do I get this extra storage? Just so you know I am 75 years old and have used PCs that are already set up. Please be specific with your help.

Can you take a digital photo of the device and post it in your next reply?
There is a microSD slot in your HP ChromeBook.
128 GB is a good size and happens to be what I use in the MicroSD port of my Spectre x360 13t-ap069 Ultrabook as extra storage.
It would help if you were to provide the product name and number of your ChromeBook.

Ah.
Thanks for the images.
That is a very good question.
What is the product number of the HP laptop it was delivered with?
While logged in, Windows key + R, then type msinfo32 and press Enter. Look for the product number (SKU) in the system information list
