Dear Forum Members and Forum Experts,

I would like your help on whether SSD or RAM is covered by the CRU for HP 250 15.6 inch G9 Notebook PC (6S7B3EA) laptops? Thank you very much everyone for your help.

Here is the Service Manual:

SSD and memory are technically listed as not consumer accessible and only to be replaced by an authorized service provider. However, HP has taken the position that you can replace these items and warranty will not be revoked as long as no damage is done in the process. Retain the original parts because if you ever return it for service it needs to have them reinstalled. Good luck.

Dear Huffer,

Thank you very much for your help and guidance. You provided important information because HP Service rejected my warranty claim with reference to the fact that I upgraded my laptop (RAM + SSD). The laptop was defective already at the time of delivery (wholesaler - reseller), yet our client used the laptop - for 5 months after the expansion. Currently, motherboard is faulty.

Should have placed the original parts back in before returning for service. Also keep in mind I do not work for HP I am just reporting what has been stated on this Forum.
