I have this exact same issue with video calls on my new HP Envy I ordered directly from HP in Sept. Loud noise, have to manually shut down and it continues for a long time even while powering down. I then have to try and log in by my phone or hope that I can make it through a video call without this embarrassment. I hope there is a fix or solution.
