Common problems for Battery

Hi, I just took 4 different AA flights where my HP Pavilion 15t-dk200 laptop wouldn't charge using AA's in-seat power outlets. From my Google searches, it appears that some (many?) AA flights have power outlets that get tripped if the adapter tries to pull more than about 75W (the standard adapter for my laptop draws 150W of power). So I'm looking for a charging option with a lower power draw - something in the 45W to 65W range.

The simplest solution would be to buy, say, a 65W power adapter. (Even a 90W adapter might draw too much power.) Is it possible to find a 65W power adapter that works with my laptop?

Alternatively, can I use the USB-C port on the left-hand side of the laptop to receive power (as opposed to sending power from the laptop to another device)? I purchased and tested a power block that was recommended in the HP support article, "How to Charge Laptop Without a Charger" (https://www.hp.com/us-en/shop/tech-takes/how-to-charge-laptop-without-charger), but I couldn't get it to work - the laptop was trying to charge the power block, instead of the other way around.

Its USB-C port is hopeless, it does NOT support USB PD therefore you can NOT use it to charge your machine. No thing you can do since AA only allows to use 75W max outlets on its flights. Any lower wattage chargers won't charge your machine OR may take ages to charge when your machine is off.

Thanks BH! I'm going to try a 65W charger just to see if it charges - at all. If it does, even if it's slowly, it could help give me a little more time in-flight if I start with a fully-charged battery. Not ideal, but it seems to be the only way to (potentially) have my laptop connected to power during the flight.

It occurred to me after my initial post that a 3rd option might be to carry a 2nd, fully-charged battery with me. But wouldn't you know, my laptop's battery isn't (easily) user-replaceable.

It seems to me that the HP design team really screwed up on this!

*** UPDATE: Using a 65W charger DOES charge my laptop, albeit more slowly. When I connect the 65W charger, I get the following message: "Low-power power source detected. Your computer will run in reduced performance mode and might not charge."
