Service Manual:
RAM: Manual says 16 gigs is the max but it will accept a pair of 16 gig DDR4-2400 SO-DIMM modules for 32 gigs total.
As far as SSDs you can install a 2.5 inch SATA SSD in the hard drive bay or it has an M.2 slot which will take a 2280 form factor SATA or PCIe/NVME (B or B + M keyed) SSD. There is no capacity limit except what you can find on the market so 2 TB disks are an option and larger if you can find it.
