Operating System: Microsoft Windows 8.1 (64-bit)

Im in the process of replacing the battery and powercord for my HP 15-d020dx Touchscreen Notebook PC (energy Star).So im not sure which battery to get and the same with the powercord.I ahve to restart thre laptop for the battery to charge.Thats why i need to buy a new battery for it.Plus thinking about upgrading the hard drive.I cant find a somewhat cheap hard drive.Im on a fixed income and cant afford to buy the more exspensive hard drives.Any help would be great.

So in short your asking for...

  • A new battery to replace your old battery because of charging issues and probably a new power cord
  • A new low-cost hard drive that won't give you any issues in the long run. (hard drive's ussually last around 3-5 years before needing to be replaced.

Please correct me if I'm wrong.

by default, you should have a 500 GB 5400RPM hard drive. Are you looking for the same size or a bigger size for space???
I would sugget you get a Solid State Drive. Maybe 250gb ssd. Lowest price goes for $45

As for the charger and battery...

Thanks for getting back to me.Yeah its my laptop my friend sold me it.And yeah it has a 500GB hard drive i forgot it has one lol.And for the battery and power cord i will buy those on amazon.Thank you for taken the time to look up this information for me.
