HP ENVY 17-j021nr Notebook PC
Microsoft Windows 10 (64-bit)

Hello Folks,

I am unable to upgrade to Windows 11 due to the TPM2.0 Bios restriction. Is there a Bios or Motherboard/processor upgrade available for the Envy 17-j021nr ...any help is appreciated 🙂

Thank you for the unsupported install, it's good to know I have until Oct. 2025 for Windows 10 but I would really like to upgrade to a compatible Bios or System board to eliminate the possibility of Microsoft pulling future support.

Unfortunately, the workaround is as good as it will get, since your unsupported hardware (motherboard) has TPM 1.0.

TPM is an actual chip on the motherboard.

I was hoping to find a replacement motherboard with TPM2.0 and possibly an upgraded CPU also ...is that an option?

Unfortunately, that is not a viable option.
