Product: HP Pavilion - 15-cs0058od
Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Dear HP Support,

 

I have an HP Pavilion 15-cs0058od laptop, and I am experiencing issues with the battery. It is draining very quickly and doesn’t last very long, requiring me to keep the charger connected at all times. However, it does seem to charge properly.

 

I have a couple of questions:

- Are there any diagnostic tools or software you recommend for checking the health and efficiency of the battery?
- Could you suggest a couple of reliable battery brands that I can purchase for this laptop?

HP Recommended

I ran this command "powercfg /batteryreport" and generated the battery report. Please let me know if you want me to send it to the HP Support. thanks.

Thank you @Huffer and the laptop is 4 to 5 years old.  I have battery report in PDF format and don't see an option to attach a PDF. Please let me know if there is a way that i can upload pdf file, if not, happy to send it via direct email to HP support.

We are not HP support but fellow end users. You should be able to save the .pdf as a .jpg and attach that here. 4 to 5 year old laptop almost certainly needs a new battery.
