I am fed up with HP. The service is horrible. I bought an HP Spectre x360 two years ago, and within a month the screen had broken, although it was just sitting on a desk. The product was obviously defective. It was still under warranty, so they were able to fix it, but a year later, the same thing happened, a couple months after the warranty had expired. I opened up a service ticket, but I receive no communication from HP. After trying multiple service numbers, finally I got through to one, that informed me that although they could not help, I would be contacted by the HP service team. This was a lie. I was never contacted, and this was not the last time. I ended up having to call multiple time until I was finally given a (very expensive) reparation offer. I purchased it and was promised that my computer would be fixed in 2 to 3 weeks. Another lie. I waited a month and a half but still not computer, so I decided to call again. I was told that they wouldn't be able to fix it for another month and a half. My heart sunk. Another month and a half would mean being 3 months without a computer, without which I am unable to work. I am not able to wait three months for my computer to be fixed!
I said this was unacceptable and not what I had paid for, and so I asked that either they find a way to repair my computer sooner, or they send me a replacement, especially since this was not the first time that the screen had broken. The help desk operator offered to send me my broken computer back with a reimbursement. I specifically said that this was not sufficient. By this point, my computer had already been broken for 7 months due to the poor service I had received and the empty promises that HP would contact me. He told me that he would send my request to the complaints section, and that I would be called within 2 to 3 days. Again, after 5 days, no one had called. Another lie. And not just that, HP ended up sending me my broken computer back, which I had specifically said not to do. I called again, and have been told that either I have to wait another 2 months for my computer to be fixed for the same ridiculous price I had paid before, or I have to look for another company to fix my computer. This is ridiculous! Who will reimburse me for the months that I have been waiting for my computer to be repaired, as well as for all the lies I have been told and the terrible way I have been treated?!
