Hi @Fa1412tx

Hard disk manufacturers market their drives in decimal numbering system. In this type of numbering, 1 MB (megabyte) equals 1,000,000 bytes, 1 GB (gigabyte) equals 1,000,000,000,000 bytes and 1 TB (terabyte) equals 1,000,000,000,000,000 bytes. But programs such as FDISK, the system BIOS or the Windows operating system use the binary numbering system, so 1 MB is equal to 1,048,576 bytes, 1 GB to 1,073,741,824 and 1TB to 1,099,511,627,776.
