Hello,

 

A few months ago I bought a (very nice) OMEN 17-db0010nb (A56HDEA).

Before I open up my new laptop; I thought it be wise to first ask:

- Is there room foreseen for a second (m2) SSD?

- And if so, what is the best ssd I put in there?

Below is the link to the service manual for your notebook.

 

Maintenance and Service Guide OMEN 17.3 inch Gaming Laptop PC Model numbers: 17-db0xxx (hp.com)

 

Chapter 1 indicates that there is support for two M.2 NVMe SSD's.

 

There is an illustration of the location of the two SSD positions in chapter 6, page 37.

 

One drive is to the left of the battery and the other to the above the right side of the battery.

 

There are service videos for your notebook in English and French.
