I got this computer less than a week ago and the keyboard is not working properly. I was not able to get in my account because the keyboard is no longer giving the @ sign on the number 2 button, instead when i attempt to to get it im getting " instead and on the buttom that gives ' im getting the @ sign.

To be able to answer you effectively, we need some information.
May I have the exact name and product number of the unit? Do not share any of your personal information such as serial, phone number, email ID, etc.
Or if the keyboard is faulty, I suggest contacting the store you purchased.
