I have replaced my laptop motherboard. It became slow. It only runs fast when it is connected to charger. Without charger it is very slow. And I am facing problem during installing or deleting any software. It is not giving me permission.

It sounds like there could be a couple of things causing the slowness and issues with software installation or deletion on your HP Pavilion 14 laptop after the motherboard replacement. Here's what might be happening and how to address it.
Power Settings/Performance Mode:
- When the laptop is connected to the charger, it's likely in "High Performance" mode, which allows for better performance. When it's unplugged, it might switch to a "Power Saver" mode, which limits performance to save battery.
- Check your power settings and make sure it’s set to "High Performance" in both plugged-in and battery modes:
- Go to Control Panel > Power Options and select High Performance.
- Also, check the battery settings and ensure there’s no setting that limits performance to save power.
Driver Issues (Especially Chipset or Power Management Drivers):
- After replacing the motherboard, some drivers, especially for the chipset or power management, might not have been installed correctly or might need to be updated. This can cause issues with the laptop's performance and power management.
- Go to Device Manager, check for any yellow exclamation marks (which indicate driver issues), and update the drivers. You might want to download the latest drivers from the HP support website.
- If possible, check if the Intel Management Engine or AMD chipset drivers are installed correctly.
Permissions Issue:
- The problem you're facing when installing or deleting software may be related to User Account Control (UAC) or a mismatch in permissions after the motherboard replacement.
- Try running the software installer as an administrator:
- Right-click on the installer file and select Run as Administrator.
- If you’re using a non-administrator account, make sure the account has administrative privileges. You can check and adjust this in the User Accounts section in Control Panel.
BIOS/UEFI Settings:
- It's possible that after the motherboard replacement, certain settings in the BIOS/UEFI might be affecting the laptop's performance. You may want to reset the BIOS to default settings to ensure it’s optimized for your system.
- To reset the BIOS, restart the laptop and press the F10 key (or whatever key is assigned to access BIOS on your laptop). Once in BIOS, look for an option to reset settings to default.
- Also, ensure that the Intel SpeedStep or similar power settings are enabled in BIOS.

System File Corruption:
- The motherboard replacement could have caused some issues with your system files, especially if Windows was not cleanly reinstalled. You can check for corruption by running a System File Checker (sfc) scan:
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator and type:
sfc /scannow
Then press Enter and let it scan and repair any system files.
- Open Command Prompt as Administrator and type:
Reinstall or Repair Windows:
- If the issue persists, it might be worthwhile to try repairing or reinstalling Windows to ensure everything is working correctly after the hardware change.
