HP Notebook - 15-ay005tx

Hello,

I recently dropped my HP laptop, and unfortunately, the body has been damaged. The screen and internal components seem to be working fine, but the outer casing is cracked and needs to be replaced.

Could anyone advise me on the process to get a replacement body for my laptop? I'm looking for official parts, and I would appreciate any guidance on where to order them or if HP offers repair services that could help with this.

Here are the details of my laptop:

Model: HP Notebook - 15 - ay005tx

Issue: Damaged body due to accidental drop

Thank you in advance for your help!

The HP PartSurfer search that I did shows all parts available for your laptop,  See the link below.

The base enclosure part number is 854999-001

If you plan on doing the removal and replacement work yourself, this is worthwhile.

If you are going to have it done by a shop, it would probably be wiser to source a replacement laptop.

Having it done at an HP Service Center after warranty would cost more than the current value of the laptop.
