Your machine has Gen 6 Intel processor namely Intel® Core™ i3-6006U (2 GHz, 3 MB cache, 2 cores) therefore as mentioned on page 3 of the manual : it supports DUAL storage with M2. SATA SSD + 2.5" HDD.
The answer is Yes: It has a slot for M.2 SATA SSD. Your machine has 500 GB 5400 rpm SATA now, you can add M.2 SATA SSD to your machine.
