Hello all,

 

At my desk at work I have a HP Elitebook Thunderbolt Docking station. Connected to it are Power, Keyboard(USB), Mouse(USB), Monitor1(HDMI),Monitor2(HDMI) and obviously the thunderbolt wire to connect to my laptop. 

 

When I plug in to my laptop (it has two thunderbolt ports), when I plug into one thunderbolt port, it will extend my displays as normal, but will not send any power to my keyboard or mouse. When I unplug it and plug it in to the thunderbolt next to the one I just unplugged from, it will extend my displays as normal AND deliver power to my keyboard and mouse. Anybody know what could be causing this? I've been able to replicate this issue on other docking stations at my workplace, leading me to believe this issue lies with my laptop and n

For some reason the forum is not letting me select my product when I post, but to clarify I have an Elitebook 840 running windows 10 64 bit.
