So after I updated the pc
I saw 3 windows option on a blue screen
I choose the 1st one as usual but this time I went to the extra settings or something and clicked "default windows" and changed it from the "30 seconds" and now it's turning on, shows a black screen and then it turns off automatically and repeats.
Also the fans turn on when the screen is black and turns off.

You did a regular windows update and not a bios update or an update from 10 to 11. Is that correct?
You need to restore windows to before the update.
Press F10 and go into the BIOS setup and press F9 or the key that sets the BIOS default. Check that the date and time are correct. Ensure that secure boot is enabled, then press F10 and be sure to save when exiting the bios setup.
Does your PC boot? If not, you need to get into Windows safe mode and find the problem.
First read this article about safe mode. Skip down to 'Enter safe mode from outside windows. If F11 does not get you into system recovery then try turning the power on and off three or more times in a row.
Try that Startup Repair shown just above.
If that does not work then go for a Restore Point.
This video describes how to use a restore point. Ignore that it shows windows working. Clicking on System Restore will bring up the list of restore points similar to what is in the below video.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sixGAIiPTlE
If there are no restore points or the restore point is so far back that you'll lose a lot of programs then you need to bring up the device manager and see if you can fix the problem.
Find the device that has the error icon and try to fix it.
Let me know what you find out.

I didn't update from 10 to 11
Also
At first I updated windows then it told me in a blue screen "select operating system" then I selected "change defaults or select other options" then I clicked in like select default windows or something and after that it's been starting showing a black screen then turning off, and repeating it

Try booting into window safe mode as suggested earlier.
Do you have cloud recovery?
Cloud recovery provides all the custom HP drivers.
Go to the below site and enter your product ID including the 3 characters after the # character
If you have cloud recovery you can restore your system using a 32gb flash.
It may take an hour or more to create the recovery USB.

Let me know if you have cloud recovery or not.

I don't have CLOUD recovery and how do I enter windows safe mode? Like my laptop straight up shuts down after 4 seconds and then restarts and shuts down after 4 seconds again.
Im quite certain there is no hardware issues as I was using it perfectly fine before that incident (the one I described in the last reply)

This seems to be a hardware problem: the turning on and shutting down repeatedly. That will interfere with any attempt to boot into safe mode.
4 seconds is not enough time for a CPU to heat up and issue a thermal shutdown. Usually if the CPU fan or pump is not working a message is produced before the shutdown.
If your system is less than 5 years old you should have cloud recovery. The only exceptions are if the laptop came with freedos or linux.
Can you pass diagnostics?
Tap the ESC key after powering on. Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
If a component fails during the UEFI test then Click here to check warranty
If the component is not tested then possibly it is in the updated version of UEFI diagnostics.
HP releases newer UEFI diagnostics periodically. When you select F2 during boot you are requesting UEFI diagnostics. There is an updated diagnostics package Click Here Look for the phrase 'issues outside the OS', Expand the '+' symbol and click the DOWNLOAD button. The version of the UEFI diagnostics is shown at the left of that DOWNLOAD button. When you press F2 to run diagnostics please ensure the version is the new one. |
The can be installed from a USB flash drive if necessary.
Let me know what you find out.
