i need to know which processors are supported by dv6-2133ee. Perfectly working condition and health but just old and bit slow, thinking of giving it a full on upgrade instead of throwing it for a new one. I have two similar laptops from 14 years ago, another one is dv6-1330ev, which is also working fine just wifi is dead.
Sharing screenshot of specs of DV6-2133ee in the attached image please suggest.

You're very welcome.
Below is the link to the service manual for your older model dv6-1330ev.
The list of supported processors can be found in chapter 1.
Looks like you can go up to the T9900.
If you need to replace the Wi-Fi card, you must replace it with one that has the exact same part number on the 'Replace with HP Spare' label because the model series has a BIOS whitelist which blocks the installation of any other model Wi-Fi card from working.
You can aways use a dual band USB Wi-Fi adapter instead without any restrictions.

You should be able to install the Intel Core i5-580M processor in your notebook.
Perhaps even the i7-640M.
Quad core processors use a different motherboard.
Here's a side-by-side comparison of your notebook's current processor and the other two:
