Microsoft Windows 11

My perfectly good laptop is now so slow after windows 11 upgrade it is difficult to use.

i7  1.8GHZ    8GB

 

Any help or ideas?

I downloaded the windows 11 update and response time has picked up,   My Symantec antivirus shows antivirus is NOT on.  I retried multiple times and now it is active.   The HP support assistant was moved to the desktop, and I found it.  All OK at the moment.

I see you had issues with the HP Notebook and I am glad to know that you have managed to resolve the issue. 

 

I have a few recommendations 

  • Update your Notebook computer to latest BIOS from HP.COM.
  • Make sure the Windows and HP support assistant updates are up to date.
