Product: HP Spectre x360

I have the spectre x360 that I purchased from bestbuy and it's now out of warranty and they can't do anything about it. The gentleman from geek squad mentioned that it's most likely a motherboard issue since he's come across some that's had the same issue. Then I come across this thread with all the same issues. Now I'm thinking this should've most definitely been a recall. I haven't been with a laptop for a couple of months now for financial issues. Someone from HP please help with this.
