Hi @Tori91,
Welcome to HP Support Community.
Thank you for posting your query, I will be glad to help you.
If you have sticky keys on your HP 15 laptop, it could be due to debris or buildup underneath the keys. Here are a few steps you can try to clean the keys.
- Turn off your laptop to avoid accidental key presses.
- Use compressed air to blow out any dust or debris around the sticky keys.
- Gently remove the key: Many laptop keys can be carefully pried off with a flat tool like a small plastic pry bar or a flathead screwdriver. Make sure to lift from the edges to avoid damaging the key or the mechanism beneath it.
- Clean under the key: Once the key is removed, you can use a soft cloth, cotton swab, or alcohol wipe to clean the area.
- Reattach the key: After cleaning, carefully snap the key back into place by aligning it and pressing gently until it clicks.
I hope this helps.
Take care and have a good day.
