I have 2 different HP laptops and one charger.  I don’t even know whether the HIBBO charger goes with either the I3 or the I5 machine.

Hello.

Impossible to say with the information you provided.

If this is a HP charger with HP logo, then there is a HP part number that identifies it.

Likewise, you need to give us the laptop model numbers or part numbers.

The laptops have the power requirements printed on the bottom cover. The charger has the voltage, amps and total power (in watts) printed on it. As long as the charger voltage is the same (probably 19.5V), the amps are equal or greater than what the laptops require, AND the polarity is center positive on the charger, then you can use the charger with the laptop.

If you require more help, provide the charger and laptop id in your next reply.
