Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

Hello,

Can i add additional HDD to my notebook? Model number 15-ec2004no. Is there space for it and what thickness it should be. Do i need additional cables or bracket kit?

Currently i have SSD with 512GB.

Your service manual (on page 1) states that your model supports a 2.5" hard drive (7 - 7.2 mm in thickness).

Maintenance and Service Guide HP Pavilion Gaming 15 Laptop PC

 

Page 19 of the manual indicates you need a bracket and cable, The cable's part number is L72698-001, but the bracket is listed as "not available as spare part." So basically, it may be extremely hard for you to find a right bracket.
