i just figured it out you pull on the ribbon cable there was nothing holding it. it a HP specter x360 convertiable 14-ea0007na it i5 11gen cpu. I've been having issues with charging the laptop it was fine but it sometimes decides to charge and doesn't and now both of the type c ports have melted/blown smoke came out of them. it 20V 3.25A
