pen not charging

Hi. my computer is HP Pavilion, I bought it a long time ago, when I bought it I didn't know that there was a pen, when I opened it at home I saw it but I didn't use it because I only watched movies now I wanted to use the pen, I read the instructions and according to the instructions I put it on charge first but it glows orange and doesn't turn white, it needs to be charged for 45 minutes, I see it doesn't turn white, does that mean there's a problem with the pen?

The pen contains a battery and all batteries degrade. It is possible that the pen cannot be recovered.

There have been many different HP pens. Can you provide the pen name or product number?

If you cannot identify your pen, then perhaps the laptop model number could help as well.
