Hello,
I have some problem with a missing cable ( ribbon) for my new notebook. My notebook is equipped with NVMe M2 256Gb from start and I need to put a new SSD to have more space. But when I was at a service, they told me that we dont have that connector (ribbon) to make the connection. They can provide one, but it cost ~30 dollars, and can wait around 7 weeks to receive it.
Can someone have some suggestion?

Welcome to HP forums, I see that ribbon for your new laptop for the second SSD installation is missing.
I am sending you a private message. Please check the mailbox icon at the top-right corner of this screen.
I hope this helps resolve this issue completely.
Cheers.

Hello,
I buyed the ribbon and the socket for this laptop from UK. It was around 15 pounds each. Here in Romania, the official servide HP ask me around 125 pounds (Cordon Electronics). I feel they they scam me with this price. Someone call me from HP Romania and they told me that this upgrade is optional and for that I must accept this price. I feeled sad that they oblige me to accept this price.
If not, they will cancel my warranty because I do not use they're service. I feel that the HP world is a bad solution me. It is the first laptop buyed from HP, and I think that's the last, definitely.
I will think that I will return the product to seller, or I will sell it.
