i installed a new ssd, i installed a fresh copy of windows 11 . i did the update to install firmwares and drivers.everything works but the usb port on the right side of laptop. device manager doesnt show any errors or unknown device

Check to see if there is a hardware problem.
Tap the ESC key after powering on. Tap it once a second after you see the LEDs on the keyboard flash. When you see the startup menu, press F2 to run diagnostics.
If a component fails during the UEFI test then Click here to check warranty
If the USB ports pass then the problem is windows.
Did you do a factory restore of windows 11 from the HP Cloud?
The HP Cloud Recovery Tool is an application developed by HP. It enables customers to access a digital download of their recovery media and create a bootable USB drive (Minimum 32GB) to recover their units back to factory status.
