I don't even know where to start. I am very and extremely frustrated right now. Like really really really really annoyed.
My HP laptop had this audio issue where it work perfectly well when nothing connects. But when I plug in ANY headphones, the audio works bit at a certain pont it stops. Even when I unplug the headphone. Still nothing. And I have to restart my laptop ALL THE TIME before the audio comes back. It's been doing this ever since I purchased this HP PAVILION i5 laptop.
OK, now today 01/14/2022 I got in contact with an HP agent (Kendra) who was the one to assist me. I payed my complaint and explained everything to her and she sent me some instructions to go on command prompt and execute them and assured me it'll fix everything. I even save those instructions on a notepad on my desktop because she told me it'll take time and I did took time. After I followed every step on the instruction and restarted my laptop as she rightly said, my system came on with EVERYTHING SINGLE OF MY IMPORTANT DOCUMENTS WIPED.
OH MY GOD I CAN'T TELL HOW ANNOYED I FEEL RIGHT NOW. ALL OF MY SAVED PAGES ON MY BROWSER, GONE. My desktop is changed and ALL MY VERY IMPORTANT FILES ON THE DESKTOP ARE GONE.
For the past hour and half I've been tirelessly looking for an HP number to call and I can't. And I just created this account now just for this because I NEED MY DOCUMENTS AND ALL MY SAVED PAGES BECAUSE YOU DON'T KNOW HOW IMPORTANT THEY ARE TO ME

First of all, I wish folks would quit saying WIPED -- when nearly all of them do NOT know what that means! IT requires special software and hardware to WIPE files, none of which you probably have. They probably got ERASED -- which is entirely different because with that situation, you have a good chance of recovering them.
Second, the BEST way to recover files from the drive is to remove it and connect it to another working PC using an adapter.
Third, if you are actually running Windows 10, not 11, then this is probably NOT a brand new laptop, and that is important because the very new ones have m.2 SSD and in many cases, those can not be removed. Since you provided us no model number information, we have no way of knowing how new or old this is.
What I suggest is the following:
1) Download and install this utility on the PC
https://www.minitool.com/data-recovery-software/free-for-windows.html
2) Run the data recovery utility to see what can be retrieved from the old drive.
If that tool does not find what you need, an alternative is Recuva http://www.piriform.com/recuva
And, if that does not work well, the best tool out there is this one, but only the demo version is free https://www.runtime.org/data-recovery-software.htm
