This isn't really a need for answers on how to fix my issue since my laptop is currently in the hands of HP support being fixed. I had a battery charging issue that resulted in a massive failure after they remotely did a BIOS update on the laptop. I had to send it in, and they received it on 4/18 of this year.  It has been almost a month now, and I just keep getting blanket e-mails stating that they are waiting on a part to repair my issue. They just keep pushing back the estimated delivery date by two weeks with no real timeline of when the part will arrive to fix the laptop. They have also not offered any form of a loaner laptop in the meantime. I understand that there can be supply and demand issues, but I only bought the laptop last September brand new; I can't imagine why the part hasn't arrived yet. It's incredibly frustrating to not be provided an accurate timeline of when the laptop will be fixed. I have heard this has been an issue for other people, but I just had to vent about this somewhere. It's inexcusable.

Welcome to the HP Support Community. 

 

I understand that this is a Hardware issue. Since the unit is already with the service center, I would request you to contact HP Phone support who can help you with further updates.

 

For that to happen, we will give you additional instructions/information via Private Message.
