Laptop model: Hp g42 456TU
In this ink there are no HP MediaSmart software download option. So I want to know if this laptop supports HP MediaSmart, and if supports from where to download the software?

Hi,
If you have Windows 7 installed, you should be able to install HP MediaSmart software. Try the installers listed below.

Hi,
My personal opinion would be that they are not necessary - the only other software that you may want to install is the latest version of HP Cyberlink PowerDVD 10. Again, it's not really needed if you don't want it, but if you do, the installer is on the link below.

I have cyberlink HP YouCam 3
So if you give me the link of latest version of You cam I would very helpful.
and I want to know that what is HP quick launch software installed on my laptop..?

Hi,
The latest version of Cyberlinks YouCam is on the link below - you will need to uninstall your current version and restart the notebook before installing this latest version. This is version 3.5, so just check in case you already have the latest version.

HP Quick Launch software allows you to use certain shortcuts usually on the f1 to f12 keys, for example you can commonly adjust the brightness using the f2 and f3 keys when this software is installed.

Hi im new to this site. I have an HP Notebook PC and I cant find my HP MediaSmart on my computer. i had it at some point because when i originally bought my laptop the webcam worked. i could take pics and make videos. well im trying to skype with a friend and i have Cyberlink YOUCAM 3.5. When I try to skype or pull up my webcam it tells me to plug in my webcam. I have an integrated one. It also says if you have an integrated webcam to make sure its turned on. I dont know how to do that. When i bring up youcam it tells me the sam thing. I have tried updating and everything I can think of. Please help.
