incorrect operating system version reported by HP     I cant download drivers and software

Hi:

 

It seems that HP has not yet released W11 drivers for the 17-cd1xxx model series.

 

The only suggestion I can offer would be to try the W11 drivers from the 17-cd2xxx model series.

Do not use any of the BIOS or firmware files though.
