Not good news !!!
Key Code? If it has a Genuine version of Windows isn't that enough?
Where or How do you  obtain a Key Code. 
 
Free upgrade to Windows 10 If you upgraded to Windows 10 for free from Windows 7 or Windows 8.1, you should have a digital license instead of a product key.
My brothers older HP computer came with Windows 7 and it was upgraded to Windows 10 I believe it was from a MS update?! Went to sleep and woke up the next day with Windows 10 installed. 
The dv7-3085dx came with Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit Edition. An IT Tech worked on it and it now has Windows 7 Professional 32-bit 
I don't see the difference?
