Product: HP ProBook 450 G8 Notebook PC (1A888AV)

Hello,

I physically added the fingerprint key on my ProBook 450 G8 with "sp142038 ELAN Fingerprint Sensor Driver 3.2.12011.10052 Rev.A.exe" Windows Hello works fine. I installed "sp113277 HP Client Security Manager 10.1.exe" (recommended for Windows 11) which does not work: blank window after launching. Do you have any ideas on this problem? Thanks in advance.

Hello,

 

You do not need HP CSM for the fingerprint reader or Windows Hello to work. CSM product is not listed for your PC model here:

What functionality are you looking for so that you decided to install the HP CSM app ?

HP Client Security Manager is a legacy thing and has been replaced by HP Wolf Security
