I'm trying to get a replacement laptop charging cable for mine, which broke, but HP wont help me without a "PN" number from the broken charger cable. I see a "Regulatory Model Series" number, an "HP Part No.", a "Replace With HP Spare" number, a "S/N" number, and a "CT" number, but according to HP support, none of these are the right number, it has to be a "PN" number.

Here are the HP part numbers for the AC adpaters, there are 2 different ones, depending on Output Wattage.
Not sure which one was shipped with your notebook originally, maybe look on the label for Output wattage and match it.
there are the actual Part numbers listed by HP on the parts website

65 Watt
613149-001
90 Watt
613150-001
You might be able to find these for less on eBay or using Google search.

The thing is, I bought this charger directly from HP support a few months ago to replace the original one (which broke), now this one broke a few days ago so it should still be under warrenty, so I shouldn't have to buy a new one. I have the part number off this charger, but HP is insisting there is a separate "PN" number, which simply isn't there.
Mine specifically is a 90 watt charger though.
