HP 470 17 inch G10 Notebook PC (772L3AV)

How do I fix download issues on HP470-G310 Laptop will not download properly right from day one. Screens freeze, videos do not load, just show blank screen with revolving curser and only load on half screen despite setting at full screen. Click on a site and the screen is filled just with 3 capitals i.e. ITV in enormous letters that fill the screen.. My old Z-Book 17" is fine and downloads ok.

Regret buying another HP Laptop 3 months ago.

Newer notebooks come with MS Edge installed by default and that presents all kinds of issues downloading and running nearly anything.

If you are using Edge, then try using a different browser -- like Firefox or Opera or Vivaldi.  If any of those download OK, that has solved the download issue.

As to video playback, you're probably using the default MS media player -- which also has issues.

Look online for VLC Media Player, download that and try using it.
