Product: HP Spectre x360 13.5 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-ef2000 (771W9AV)

A friend set up my new laptop out of the box yesterday and I have taken it on holiday to work but it now won’t turn on like the battery is flat - there are 2 slots the charger will fit into - 1 on the corner at an angle and the other 10mm away on the side - which is the charging port ? I have tried both for several hours but still no life - when I hit the power key a white led lights for 3 seconds but nothing else happens - all suggestions welcome …

You can use BOTH ports (#2) to charge your macchine

 

             charge ports.png

The charger needs to "click" properly to one port.

HP has not posted newer manuals but you can use older manuals
