My screen also broke for no apparent reason. One day when the light was just right I noticed the glass had a crack in it, Seemed to work fine so I just kind of forgot about it. Now it has developed more cracks and mouse and touchsreen are not  working. In my reasearch I see this is a common problem. Is HP just letting us hang out to dry? Or is there anything we can get to correct the problem. I have read where after the screen is repaired it just cracks again?
