Product: HP Pavilion - 15-cs3087tx

Can I connect to two HP monitors by extending between monitor HDMI ports from my HP Pavilion laptop? Ie HDMI cable to first monitor then a second HDMI cable between monitors?

People are developing a TRUE HDMI splitter but I don't know when it would come out. At this stage, the answer is NO, you can't not extend 2 monitors with one HDMI port, you can only get duplicated. One more note: HDMI does NOT support daisy chain connection.

 

If you wish, you can use

 

  • Monitor 1: HDMI direct cable,
  • Monitor 2: Using a Displaylink Certified USB-A to HDMI adapter such as

                                     USB to HDMI Adapter

Thanks for the reply Banhien. Are you able to tell me why the DisplayLink adapter suggested will work and the j5create JCD371 will not work with my laptop please? My laptop is a HP Pavilion - 15-cs3087tx.
