Seen the same model on a YouTube review, and the keyboard has a backlight, my laptop doesn't why?

Sorry I don't know. What is your HP Laptop 15s-eq2xxx ? Looks like a NO, the following machine does not mention about keyboard

 

                                HP Laptop 15s-eq2011nw

 

Please check your keyboard, does it have a key with backlit symbol ? Normally on f5 or f4.
