HP Spectre x360 13.5 inch 2-in-1 Laptop PC 14-ef0000 (3Y838AV)

The touchpad on my HP Spectre is acting erratically. Sometimes, there is significant lag, or the cursor jumps all over the screen at random and also clicks on items randomly. This happens about 70% of the time when I start the computer.  Unfortunately, my warranty is expired.

Hi thank you for the response. I have tried all the steps listed on that troubleshooting page, including a hard reset and a system reset. The problem continues, unfortunately.
