Operating System: Microsoft Windows 11

I recently updated to Windows 11 and ever since the fingerprint scanner is not available for login. It's not even listed in the device manager under Biometric Devices or Other Devices. There are some devices listed in the latter category which are not functional (Detection Verification, PCI Device, and Unknown device). I tried to run a UEFI component diagnostic test but have no fingerprint scanner listed. Is this a driver issue or something else?

Hi:

 

The only suggestion I can offer, would be to go to the W11 Settings menu>Windows Update>Advanced options>and see if there are any optional driver updates waiting to be installed.
