My screen now has a blue tint and when starting up the screen is blue and not black

Please identify your notebook. See my signature for an example. Include all alphanumeric characters.
For troubleshooting purposes connect the notebook to an external display (an LCD monitor) start up your notebook. Is the color on the external display also have a blue tint when starting up? If it does not, then the notebook's LCD display may have issues.
If the blue tint can only be seen before the notebook boots into Windows then it is not a driver issue. If that is the case, Contact HP for warranty support.
