Hi everyone. I am having problems with my laptop. Allright so the problem is i was watching videos on youtube and suddenly it started flickering for some reason, and then it restarted itself with black sreen. I shuted it down and started it up and it again showed red lines. Then when i tried to boot on linux manjaro. It worked for couple of minutes and then again red lines and restarted again.
I tested ram in memory test, ram is ok. The laptop was not overheating. I changed the thermal paste a month ago, temps were bellow 53 when browsing internet and about 64 when playing dragon age origins.
What should i look for, is there a possiability thst the power adapter failed, or could be something more hard to solve.
Did anyone had some sort of problem like this one. I would appriciate any sort of help.

Thanks for the update.
It certainly sounds like a hardware issue with the PC.

Hey there! @DeathTempGamer,
Does the issue persist on the BIOS page?
Have you tried checking with an external monitor? Does the issue persist?
Update Windows to the latest version and check if it helps.
If the issue does not persist on the BIOS page, uninstall the graphics driver from the device manager and install the latest drivers using the HP support assistant.
Note: After uninstalling the graphics driver the resolution will change and everything appears bigger.

If the issue still persists after trying out the steps. Try running a system diagnostics test and select video test from the component test on the PC and check if the hardware components on the PC are functioning correctly.

Let me know if this works!
Have a great day ahead! 🙂
